Dr Piotr Spyra teaches medieval and early modern English literature at the University of Lodz (Poland). He is the author of The Epistemological Perspective of the Pearl-Poet (Ashgate, 2014) and The Liminality of Fairies: Readings in Late Medieval English and Scottish Romance (forthcoming, Routledge).  He is also the founder and supervisor of Geoffrey Chaucer Student Society, an academic society aimed at promoting Middle English and Early Modern literature among students of English literature in Poland.
